The SOUL Performance Sport Cat Over Axle Pipe uses high-flow catalytic converters to deliver measurable sound and performance gains by replacing the empty particulate-filter section in the factory components. When combined with SOUL Performance Competition Headers, it provides a substantial increase in output and exhaust character while retaining a monitored catalytic converter to address emissions-related concerns. To manage the additional heat produced by the catalytic core, every SOUL Performance Sport Cat Over Axle Pipe is supplied with a heat management solution as standard.

Development

To provide the most effective and efficient performance solution for the GT4 RS, SOUL Performance chose not to offer a catted header replacement and instead developed a modular Over Axle Pipe with an integrated catalytic converter. As a standalone upgrade, the SOUL Performance Sport Cat Over Axle Pipe uses high-flow catalytic converters to deliver tangible sound and performance gains by replacing the empty particulate-filter section in the factory components. When paired with SOUL Performance Competition Headers, it delivers a substantial increase in output and exhaust character while retaining a monitored catalytic converter to address emissions-related concerns.

Construction

Each set is assembled in-house in the USA by SOUL Performance using mandrel-bent, thick-wall 0.065-inch T304L stainless steel. Back-purged TIG welding with ARCAL Prime argon gas promotes proper weld penetration and long-term durability. Water-jet cut flanges are produced to ISO 9001:2015 standards with +/- 0.003-inch tolerances for exceptional precision. SOUL Performance fabricates these over axle pipes using thick-gauge aluminum fixtures that act as heat sinks during welding to prevent warping and help ensure consistent, accurate fitment.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
