Are the Fabspeed German HJS Sport Cats street-legal?

Yes. They use genuine German HJS Emitec high-flow catalysts, so they retain catalytic function, and Fabspeed states the system is emissions legal in all 50 states. That is the key difference from open race pipes: you get most of the flow and sound without making the car track-only.

They swap the most restrictive point in the exhaust for free-flowing HJS Emitec race catalysts that flow close to 90 percent of an open pipe. That frees up the naturally aspirated V12 for more power and a harder, higher-pitched F1 sound, while keeping the emissions function the factory system provides.

Do they make less power than cat-less race pipes?

No. Fabspeed states the high-flow HJS cats actually make more power than a set of race pipes, thanks to better flow and scavenging, while keeping the car emissions legal. So you are not trading performance for legality with this system.

Do they fit the OEM exhaust, or do I need the Fabspeed X-pipe?

Both. They are a direct bolt-on that uses the factory Lamborghini hardware and works with the OEM exhaust or the Fabspeed Formula 1 Style X-Pipe. Run them alone for more power on the stock exhaust, or pair them with the X-pipe for the complete Fabspeed system.

What are the Fabspeed German HJS Sport Cats made from?

The Fabspeed German HJS Sport Cats are CNC-built from 76mm T304 stainless tubing with CNC-machined flanges and genuine German HJS Emitec race catalysts. A 2000-degree thermal heat shield in 625 stainless manages the heat, and the system is backed by Fabspeed's lifetime warranty.

Will they cause a check-engine light?

They should not. Because they are true high-flow catalysts rather than a delete, the oxygen sensors still read a catalyzed exhaust, so the car is not expected to throw a check-engine light the way an open pipe would. They are built to keep the Revuelto running correctly and legally.

Description

Fabspeed German HJS Sport Race Cat w/ Heat Shield for Lamborghini Revuelto

Fabspeed’s German HJS Sport Race Cat with Heat Shield for the Lamborghini Revuelto is a fully in-house CAD-designed and CNC-built upgrade engineered for flow, heat control, sound, and reliability. Using high-flow 76mm (3.0 in) T304 stainless tubing with single-piece mandrel bends and CNC-machined flanges, this system integrates imported German HJS Emitec race catalysts that flow at roughly 90% of a straight pipe, dramatically reducing restriction while remaining 100% emissions legal in all 50 U.S. states and compliant in the EU. The assembly is thermally wrapped to 2000°F with 625 stainless for maximum heat retention, engine protection, and optimal catalyst efficiency, and it bolts on using factory Lamborghini hardware. Fabspeed’s design also sheds approximately 24lbs versus the heavy stock valved muffler, and it was 3D scanned and engineered to work seamlessly with Fabspeed’s long F1-style X-pipe system to merge both V12 banks into a high-pitch, motorsport tone. The result is a cooler, freer-breathing, harder-pulling Revuelto that sounds like a true V12 race car with no impact on emissions compliance or factory warranty.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
