Volk Racing ZE40 M-Spec Wheel (18-inch)

‘M-Spec’ Machining Letters

• To certify the ZE40 M-Spec, RAYS engraves the rim flange with the ‘M-Spec’ logo using its patented A.M.T. (advanced machining technology).

Center Cliff Design

• The overhung perimeter at the bolt holes increases center rigidity while reducing mass. It also creates a shadow that gives the impression of a deeper center area, and unnecessary material is removed to provide ample clearance for a nut wrench.

Spoke Cross Section Born from Analysis

• Stress is dispersed through the mated mold interfaces specific to the ZE40. Areas less affected by load are thoroughly lightened, and the inner rim is thickened to raise rigidity—measures enabled by RAYS’ advanced analysis technology.

Bronze (almite) Finish

• Bronze (almite) is a special sports-wheel color from RAYS. Since paint can add approximately 80-120g, the almite finish — despite being challenging on a mold-forged wheel — was selected to avoid excess weight.
