Driven by the legacy of the TE37, RAYS introduces the S-Plus update — an evolution of the iconic wheel originally launched in 1996. Over decades, the TE37 has been continually refined to meet the needs of motorsports, tuning, and performance driving. Its most recent evolution, the TE37 Saga, debuted in 2016 with a refreshed design and all-new mold. Though the TE37 has long surpassed JWL and VIA safety standards with RAYS’ own JWL+R Spec-2 criteria, RAYS identified major shifts in the modern automotive landscape — rising vehicle weights, increased power output, widespread AWD platforms, and more aggressive tires. In response, the TE37 Saga S-Plus was introduced in January 2021. This minor update underwent a detailed structural review to further strengthen the wheel and expand its safety margins. While the face design remains unchanged, enhancements to the spoke’s rear profile add approximately 100-120g depending on size — an intentional gain for increased rigidity and durability in high-demand applications.

• RAYS’ proprietary design mold forging process shapes the TE37 into its ideal form while maintaining seamless grain flow throughout the structure. This results in optimal rigidity and impact resistance true to the wheel’s original design philosophy.

Racing Concave

• Guided by Volk Racing’s principles of purposeful design and functional form, the TE37 addresses demands for diverse diameters, widths, and offsets — all while providing clearance for large brake calipers. This functional geometry, known as Racing Concave, reflects the TE37’s enduring motorsport roots.

The Design Remains with Evolved Performance

• Structurally, the TE37’s design features triangular spacing between the spokes, each measuring 60° internally — an arrangement that disperses stress across the wheel under load. Despite the variety in concave profiles per size, every wheel features a dimensional 3D-machined ‘VOLK RACING’ logo — a signature touch that reflects the premium nature of forged wheels and cannot be replicated with surface stickers.
