Does it fit facelift A 35 and CLA 35 models?

No. The turbo tube is engineered for pre-facelift models only, produced from 2018 to 2022. The facelift cars use revised inlet packaging, so the pre-facelift tube does not fit them. Confirm your build year against the Applications list before ordering.

Does the turbo tube require the Eventuri intake system?

No. The turbo tube is compatible with both the Eventuri intake system and the factory airbox, so it can run on its own or paired with the full Eventuri intake. Some product photos show the optional Eventuri intake (sold separately).

What is the turbo tube made from?

It is constructed from 100% prepreg carbon fiber for a smooth internal surface and low weight. The tube pairs with a CNC-machined breather block, MAP boss, breather connector and reinforcement ring, a laser-cut bracket, oil-resistant silicone couplers and marine-grade stainless steel clamps. Each unit is designed and hand-assembled in the UK.

Eventuri’s Mercedes A35 Turbo Tube is engineered to deliver a less restrictive path to the turbo than the OEM piece. Internal volume is increased and the ridged flexible section at the airbox side is eliminated, creating a solid tube from intake to turbo so airflow remains more laminar. To accommodate engine movement, the A35 intake employs a floating tube that can move within the airbox. The carbon tube’s turbo-end geometry is CFD-optimized to minimize turbulence, and an innovative silicone coupler with an internal thermal separator isolates the carbon tube from the metal turbo housing. Multiple rear breather connections are integrated via a CNC-machined block that also preserves a smooth internal surface for uninterrupted flow.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
