Eventuri introduces an updated FK8 Carbon Turbo Tube with increased internal volume, enabling the turbo to operate with less restriction for greater performance. The design focuses on three core objectives: maximizing airflow capacity, minimizing pressure loss, and maintaining stable inlet temperatures for consistent, repeatable gains.

VOLUME

• Eventuri specifies inlet diameters of 78 mm at the intake end expanding to 88 mm through the main section, versus the OEM’s 63 mm. By matching the MAF tube at the connection and then increasing to 88 mm, the tube delivers approximately a 96% increase in cross-sectional area over stock, encapsulating substantially greater internal volume to de-restrict the flow path to the turbo. The result is improved turbo efficiency with quicker spool to peak boost and reduced turbine loading when sustaining peak boost.

FLOW QUALITY

• Eventuri emphasizes that sheer volume is ineffective without a clean, controlled flow path. By utilizing high-temperature prepreg carbon fiber, the inlet achieves a notably smooth internal surface, unlike the OEM cast-aluminum tube’s rough interior. Paired with a carefully contoured elbow, this geometry minimizes turbulence and preserves laminar flow to the turbo for more efficient operation.

TEMPERATURE

• Eventuri prioritizes minimizing heat conduction into the intake charge. Whereas the OEM inlet bolts directly to the turbo and rapidly conducts heat during spool, Eventuri employs a machined flange mated to the turbo, followed by a silicone coupler with an integrated thermal spacer to isolate the carbon elbow from direct contact. Combined with carbon fiber’s inherently low through-thickness thermal conductivity, this barrier reduces heat transfer to the incoming airflow.
