Eventuri introduces the Lotus Emira V6 Supercharged intake, the product of extensive R&D to refine the factory flow path. The system is a ground-up redesign of the OEM airbox to reduce supercharger resistance and keep inlet temperatures low, centering on Eventuri’s patented Venturi Housing for a more direct, laminar route compared to the cuboid stock box. A custom EPDM hose replaces the ridged OEM piece with a smoother internal profile and a continuous curved section to the throttle body, while a sealed duct draws cold air from the original location to minimize IATs. Independently dyno-tested by Dream Automotive in the UK against the stock airbox (without charcoal filters), the intake delivered consistent gains across the rev range, translating on the road to sharper part-throttle and full-throttle response with stronger pull to redline.
Eventuri equips the Lotus Emira with patented carbon-fiber housings and Gen 2 bespoke filters that establish an aerodynamically efficient path from filter to turbos. Far beyond a cone and heat shield, this architecture leverages the Venturi effect to preserve laminar flow and reduce drag on the turbo system, enhancing response and consistency. Eventuri was founded by a team of engineers and enthusiasts with a background in Aeronautics and tuning – all sharing a passion for cars and performance. After owning various intakes over many years for their own cars and being disappointed with the gains which seldom lived up to their claims – they decided to take things into our own hands and rewrite the book. To set a new benchmark in intake design and technology, above all – to engineer systems which provide real gains and then to publish genuine figures. Their systems are extensively developed using cutting edge design, testing and prototyping methods. With a focus on performance, each design undergoes CFD analysis and is then validated at the prototype stage through volumetric airflow, intake temperature and extensive dynamometer testing. They strive to publish all the development information to illustrate the depths they go to in bringing an intake from concept to reality. Only the best materials are selected for each component – even down to the choice of fasteners and fixings in order to ensure that the quality of the end product is second to none. After many years of disappointment with the usual aftermarket intakes, they are proud to be raising the bar and creating intake systems which are setting a new standard and genuinely improve the performance of your vehicle.
