The 3DDesign Carbon High-Flow Intake System for F-chassis BMW M135i, M235i, M2, M3, and M4 replaces the factory air path with an enclosed, larger-capacity carbon induction box and a high-flow BMC filter to feed cooler, denser air for sharper throttle response and a richer induction note; its carbon construction is finished flawlessly inside and out for OEM-level fit and durability.

Larger Capacity

This system’s induction box and intake piping offer greater capacity than the factory BMW intake — an increase of 30% in volume — to promote smooth, stable airflow to the engine. Repeated evaluation on street, circuit, and chassis dyno allowed 3DDesign to validate real-world response and confirm seamless compatibility with the 3DDesign ECU tune, intercooler, and exhaust. Used together, these components let enthusiasts treat the powertrain as an integrated system and elevate overall performance.

BMC Filter

Because filter performance is critical to any intake, 3DDesign equips its systems with BMC air filters for optimal flow and straightforward service. Backed by extensive motorsport experience and global availability, BMC filters make ongoing maintenance simple through virtually any performance parts distributor.

Enclosed Intake Box

Extensive testing led 3DDesign to adopt an air-box style architecture. The fully enclosed air filter helps ensure the coolest possible charge air, while careful duct routing to the vehicle’s front creates a ram-air effect.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US.
