The CSF Heavy-Duty All-Aluminum Radiator is engineered as the ultimate cooling upgrade—delivering increased heat rejection and durability to keep your Jeep running cool when it matters most.

Design & Engineering

CSF notes that coolant overheating forces drivers to back off or stop—an unacceptable limitation for modern SUVs and trucks, especially the Wrangler. Its heavy-duty upgrade addresses this with a 2-row, 42 mm all-aluminum core that increases fluid capacity and heat rejection, while CSF’s exclusive B-Tube with new 5 mm, multi-louvered fin pack boosts heat-transfer efficiency by roughly 20–25% over conventional oval tubes. The result is a dramatic temperature reduction under all conditions. Engineered to withstand extreme environments, the radiator supports higher-boost and bigger-turbo builds and the extra load from gear, mods, and hard driving, and integrates seamlessly with factory or aftermarket transmission coolers, intercoolers, and related components.

CSF vs OEM

CSF acknowledges that Jeep improved the JL / JT’s factory cooling, but today’s builds—bigger turbos, more boost, heavier accessories—generate far more heat than stock systems were designed to handle. Rather than waiting for heat soak, power loss, or an OEM failure, CSF recommends a proactive upgrade to its Heavy-Duty All-Aluminum Radiator: a 50% larger core volume than OEM, a 20–25% gain in heat-transfer efficiency from CSF’s new 5 mm fin and exclusive B-Tube technology, and 100% TIG-welded aluminum construction (no plastic end tanks). Engineered for extreme conditions, it integrates cleanly with factory or aftermarket transmission coolers and intercoolers, making it equally at home daily driving, towing, or tackling off-road adventures.

5mm Core Upgrade

CSF reports that while early prototypes using its 6.5 mm fin performed well, the company pursued an even higher standard before production. The final design adopts CSF’s latest 5 mm fin technology—introduced in late 2023—providing greater heat-transfer surface area and improved thermal efficiency over the tested prototypes. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
