Its operation utilizes vacuum-actuated valve flaps that open and close automatically according to driving conditions and driver input. At lower engine speeds or while cruising, the valves remain closed to deliver a deep, resonant sound, whereas wide-open throttle causes them to open, unleashing the engine’s full symphony. Valve control is managed through the CES3 control module, ensuring precise backpressure regulation.

Engineering

• Capristo Exhaust Systems are engineered and manufactured in Germany, utilizing state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning, CAD modeling, digital prototyping, and precision CNC bending and milling techniques. Each exhaust is crafted from premium T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and expertly hand-polished to a mirror finish. This alloy was carefully chosen for its superior sonic resonance, low weight, and durability, offering performance characteristics comparable to Inconel commonly used in Formula 1.

CES3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust valves remain open
• The vehicle’s Cruise and Sport modes can be independently configured to establish specific backpressure limits, which subsequently determine the activation times of the exhaust valves. This provides exact control over the exhaust system, enabling modifications to accommodate the driver’s distinct preferences and resilience.
