The JCR Rear Wing Uprights for the 981 / 982 Porsche Cayman GT4 and 718 Cayman GT4 are available in two advanced material options — Billet Aluminum and 3D-Printed Titanium. The Billet Aluminum version is precision-machined from high-quality billet aluminum, offering improved strength, durability, and a greater range of adjustment for the rear wing. Featuring titanium fixings and available in raw or black finishes, these uprights are designed for seamless integration with the JCR rear wing. The 3D-Printed Titanium option utilizes cutting-edge 3D printing technology and high-strength titanium, delivering a significant weight reduction over OEM parts while offering enhanced strength and durability. Also available in raw or black finishes, these uprights provide optimized aerodynamics and improved handling. Both options are direct replacements for the factory uprights and are only compatible with the OEM GT4 RS rear wing, ensuring easy installation and an upgrade that enhances both performance and the car’s visual appeal, making them ideal for enthusiasts seeking to improve their vehicle’s aerodynamics and aesthetics.

Optimized Aero

The 718 GT4 RS features a significantly larger rear wing element than the 981 GT4 or 718 GT4. This wing produces more downforce and is top-mounted for greater efficiency. The JCR Wing Uprights are a 100% direct fit, enabling seamless installation of a OEM GT4 RS rear wing into a more optimized position (up and back) compared to the factory position on the 718 GT4 RS. The revised wing position enhances the efficiency of the factory rear wing by increasing its effectiveness, resulting in improved aero balance with a lower angle of attack (AOA) and less drag. Additionally, the base angle of attack has been altered to allow for a more aggressive range of adjustment, opening the possibility of adding more downforce to the front end with the use of JCR’s upcoming front aero options.

At the start of the project, JCR outlined the main design criteria and goals for the JCR Billet Aluminium Wing Uprights. There are several small details incorporated into the design that, while minor on their own, collectively contribute to an impressive overall result. The Billet Aluminium Wing Uprights are crafted from 6082-T6 Aluminium and CNC cut on a state-of-the-art 5-Axis machine. These uprights are not only stiffer and stronger than the factory parts but also reduce weight, making them a true win-win modification. The uprights are available in raw or black finishes and come with Billet Titanium Fixings — lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant.

High-Tech 3D Printed Titanium Construction

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
