Are riser brackets included with the Carbon Rear Wing for C8 Corvette Z06?

No. Kline Innovation supplies the Carbon Rear Wing for C8 Corvette Z06 as the carbon wing element alone, and riser brackets are not part of the order. Before buying, contact Bulletproof Automotive with the details of the car and the team will confirm with Kline Innovation which mounting hardware the installation needs.

Which Corvette models does the Kline Innovation wing fit?

Kline Innovation lists this wing for the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 only, from the 2023 model year onward, and shapes it to the rear deck of the Z06 body. Kline does not list it for the C8 Stingray, E-Ray or ZR1, so owners of those models should treat fitment as unconfirmed and ask Bulletproof Automotive before ordering.

What is the difference between the twill and TEXTREME versions?

Both versions are pre-preg carbon fiber cured in an autoclave, so the difference is the weave. The twill version shows the classic tight diagonal pattern. TEXTREME is woven from flattened spread-tow carbon tapes, which gives a broad checkerboard look with fewer, wider squares. TEXTREME carries a higher price on this wing, and the choice comes down to which finish suits the car.

How is the Kline Innovation carbon wing made?

Kline Innovation lays the wing up in pre-preg carbon fiber, where the resin is already in the fabric, inside molds that Kline designs and machines on CNC equipment. The part is then cured in an autoclave under heat and pressure, which compacts the plies and drives out trapped air. The result is a stiff, consistent part with an even finish across its full span.

Does the Kline Innovation wing add downforce?

Yes. Kline Innovation designed the wing to add rear downforce and improve stability at high speed, which is most useful on track and during fast road driving. Kline does not publish a downforce figure, a weight or wind tunnel data for this wing, so its gains cannot be compared directly against the factory Z07 wing on numbers alone.

Description

Kline Innovation Carbon Rear Wing for C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Kline Innovation’s Carbon Rear Wing for C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 comes from the same Romanian workshop that builds Kline’s Inconel exhaust for this car, and it is made the same way: in house, from tooling to finished part. The wing is laid up in F1 grade pre-preg carbon and cured under heat and pressure, the method used for motorsport bodywork. That suits a Z06, whose 5.5-liter LT6 flat-plane V8 makes 670hp and revs to 8,600rpm, and which reaches serious speed with very little effort. This is a part for the owner who reads a weave pattern closely and expects a wing to earn its place at speed as well as in a photograph.

Design and Performance

Kline designed the wing to add rear downforce and steady the car at high speed, and shaped it to sit on the rear deck of the Z06. Anyone shopping for a rear wing for C8 Z06 track days should know that Kline does not publish downforce or weight figures, so the comparison with the factory Z07 wing rests on construction and appearance rather than a measured aero number. For a Z06 that rarely leaves town, the factory spoiler does the job. This wing suits the car that gets driven hard.

About Kline Innovation

Kline Innovation builds exhaust systems and carbon fiber components in Romania, with every stage of a project carried out in its own workshop: laser scanning, CNC laser cutting, mandrel bending, welding, milling and autoclave curing of carbon parts. The company works in Inconel, titanium, 304 stainless steel and carbon fiber, and its exhausts made their name in the Porsche community before moving on to Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and other exotics. Low-volume makers including RUF, W Motors and Corbellati are among its clients, and Kline names itself the official exhaust supplier to Lando Norris.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
