The Flow Forming Process

• Flow forming begins by mounting a cast wheel on a heated, rotating drum while hydraulic rollers apply steady, uniform pressure along the barrel. This advanced process yields a lightweight, high-strength barrel with performance characteristics comparable to a fully forged wheel.
