The Flow Forming Process

• Flow forming starts with a cast wheel positioned on a heated, rotating drum, where hydraulic rollers apply consistent, even pressure to the barrel. As the barrel is gradually stretched to its final dimensions, the aluminum’s grain structure is compressed and realigned, significantly enhancing both strength and durability.
