The Flow Forming Process

• Flow forming starts by placing a cast wheel onto a heated, rotating drum. Hydraulic rollers then apply pressure to the barrel, gradually expanding and shaping it to the desired width. This controlled process compresses and aligns the aluminum grain structure, producing a wheel barrel that is significantly stronger and lighter, offering performance benefits similar to those of a fully forged wheel.
