VF Engineering’s Competition Package for C190 / R190 Mercedes-AMG GT, GT S and GT C covers the two-door AMG GT range in coupe and roadster form, built around a dry-sumped 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 mounted far back behind the front axle. VF publishes 595 hp and 625 lb-ft for the package, 20 hp and 25 lb-ft beyond its Performance software. The three versions leave the factory at different outputs, so no single gain is quoted: the step is largest on the base GT and smallest on the GT C. The package can be ordered as software alone or with a VF stainless steel exhaust developed with Redstar USA, designed by VF for track use, and it brings these cars close to GT R territory.

About VF Engineering

VF Engineering designs supercharger and turbocharger systems, titanium exhausts and ECU and TCU calibrations from a 15,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim, Orange County, California, where it has been based for nearly two decades. Every calibration is developed in house on the company’s own Mustang AWD 500 chassis dyno, ECU boards are handled in a dedicated clean room, and new parts start in an R&D room equipped with a rapid prototyper. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
