Design

• Vossen ensures exact wheel fitments by capturing over 100 data points on each vehicle, designing each wheel specifically for various vehicle makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are crafted using Vossen’s proprietary forging technique, which refines the spoke profile and integrates additional material on the face to accommodate a range from flat to very deep concave profiles. This process makes it possible to produce an 8.5” width wheel that features the deep concavity of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility utilizes the latest technologies to ensure the finest quality finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen Forged wheels are maintained at top quality throughout every stage of production.
  • Hand Prep: Each wheel is diligently hand-sanded and deburred after machining to secure the best finishes. Wheels slated for a brushed finish undergo extensive hand-sanding, sometimes for up to five hours per wheel, to ensure a uniform brushed appearance.
  • Brushing & Polishing: This stage is the most labor-intensive and rewarding part of the finishing process, offered as upgrades for all Vossen Forged lines. Brushed finishes emphasize the sophisticated texture of forged aluminum, and full ceramic polishing yields a shiny, mirror-like finish. The combination of these techniques offers superior results.
  • Pre-Treatment: After hand preparation, wheels are put through a seven-step cleansing pre-treatment to eliminate impurities before powder coating, ensuring a strong and consistent finish.
  • Powder Coating: Vossen’s dedicated powder coating facility for wheels uses state-of-the-art equipment and premium powders to deliver a long-lasting, uniform finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Following powder coating, each wheel is subject to a final inspection to confirm the finish’s quality and consistency, utilizing a film thickness gauge to ensure uniformity. Each wheel is then cleaned and prepped for dispatch.

Center Caps

• Vossen’s center caps are expertly designed to highlight both strength and cohesive style. Offered in polished or brushed finishes, they come with a red “V” shield as a standard feature. These finishes are included at no extra cost, with an option to color match the caps to the wheel for an additional fee. For a premium touch, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with distinctive “V” inserts. Additionally, a floating cap option is available, which can also be selected for Rolls Royce vehicles (a “plate” option must be chosen for floating caps).
