Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are manufactured utilizing Vossen’s specialized forging process, which enhances the spoke profile and incorporates extra material on the face to support profiles ranging from flat to very deep concave. This method allows for the production of an 8.5” width wheel with the deep concavity of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility employs advanced technology to ensure the highest quality finishes. Through processes like ceramic polishing and powder coating, Vossen Forged wheels achieve industry-leading quality throughout every stage of production.
  • Hand Prep: Each wheel is carefully hand-sanded and deburred after machining to ensure the highest finishes. Wheels assigned a brushed finish receive extensive hand-sanding, sometimes lasting up to five hours per wheel, to achieve a consistent brushed texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: This phase is the most intensive and fulfilling part of the finishing process, available as upgrades for all Vossen Forged lines. Brushed finishes enhance the subtle beauty of forged aluminum, and full ceramic polishing provides a reflective surface. Merging these techniques delivers exceptional results.
  • Pre-Treatment: Following hand preparation, wheels undergo a seven-step cleaning pre-treatment to remove any impurities before powder coating. This preparation ensures a robust and even finish.
  • Powder Coating: Vossen’s specialized powder coating facility for wheels features the latest equipment and top-quality powders to achieve a durable, even finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: After powder coating, wheels undergo a final inspection to verify the quality and uniformity of the finish, using a film thickness gauge to ensure consistency. Each wheel is then cleaned and prepped for shipment.

Additionally, Vossen provides a floating cap option, which can also be customized for Rolls Royce vehicles (requires selecting a “plate” option for floating caps).
