Design

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are produced using Vossen’s proprietary forging technique, which refines the spoke profile and adds material at the face to support various profiles from flat to extremely deep concave. This process enables the creation of an 8.5” width wheel that features the maximum concavity of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility leverages advanced technology to deliver premium quality finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen Forged wheels are maintained at the pinnacle of quality through each stage of production.
  • Hand Prep: Every wheel is meticulously hand-sanded and deburred following machining to ensure superior finishes. Wheels designated for a brushed finish are intensely hand-sanded for up to five hours per wheel, achieving a uniform brushed appearance.
  • Brushing & Polishing: This phase is the most demanding yet rewarding part of the finishing process. Available as enhancements for all Vossen Forged lines, brushed finishes accentuate the fine texture of forged aluminum, while full ceramic polishing yields a reflective finish. The combination of these processes provides optimal results.
  • Pre-Treatment: After hand preparation, all wheels undergo a comprehensive seven-step cleansing pre-treatment to eliminate impurities before powder coating. This ensures a durable and even finish post-powder coating.
  • Powder Coating: Tailored specifically for wheels, Vossen’s powder coating facility utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality powders to produce a resilient and uniform finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: After the powder coating process, a final review confirms the consistency and quality of the finish, employing a film thickness gauge to check for uniformity. Each wheel is then cleaned and readied for distribution.

• Vossen’s center caps are precisely engineered to provide both durability and a cohesive design. Available in polished or brushed finishes, they come standard with a red “V” shield. These finishes are offered at no additional charge, with an option to color-match the caps to the wheels for an extra fee. For a more premium option, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps featuring distinctive “V” inserts. Additionally, a floating cap option is available, which can also be chosen for Rolls Royce vehicles (requires selecting a “plate” option for floating caps).
