Design

• Vossen guarantees accurate fitments by measuring over 100 data points on each vehicle. Every wheel is custom-designed for specific vehicle makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are crafted using Vossen’s proprietary forging design, which allows the creation of wheels with an efficient spoke profile, including additional material on the face to support profiles ranging from flat to super deep concave. This innovative approach enables the production of an 8.5” width wheel with maximum concavity comparable to that of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility employs advanced equipment to deliver the highest quality finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen Forged wheels uphold industry-leading quality by carefully overseeing every stage of the process.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – Each wheel is hand-sanded and deburred after machining to achieve superior finishes. Wheels receiving a brushed finish undergo an extensive hand-sanding process, which can take up to five hours per wheel, ensuring an even, brushed surface throughout.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most labor-intensive yet rewarding part of the finishing process is brushing and polishing. Available as upgrade options in every Vossen Forged line, brushed wheels highlight the beauty of the forged aluminum grain, while full ceramic polishing results in a mirror-like finish. Combining brushing and polishing offers the best of both techniques.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – Following hand prep, all wheels undergo a seven-stage pre-treatment cleansing process to eliminate impurities before powder coating. This pretreatment ensures a more durable and consistent finish once powder-coated.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s in-house powder coating facility, specially designed for wheels, utilizes state-of-the-art components and the highest quality powders to achieve a uniform finish that endures.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, a final inspection is conducted to ensure the quality and consistency of the finish’s appearance, using a film thickness gauge to verify uniformity. Once inspected, each wheel is cleaned and packaged for shipment to the customer.

Center Caps

• Vossen’s center caps are precisely engineered to deliver both durability and a cohesive design. Offered in polished or brushed finishes, they come standard with a red “V” shield. These finishes are available at no extra cost, with an option to color-match the caps to the wheels for an additional fee. For a more premium option, Vossen provides Forged Billet Caps featuring unique “V” inserts. Additionally, a floating cap option is available, which can also be chosen for Rolls Royce vehicles (requires selecting a “plate” option for floating caps).
