All of AutoTecknic’s carbon fiber products feature a consistent carbon weave pattern, produced using our signature autoclave dry carbon technology, which ensures a perfect fit and finish. Dry carbon, the highest-quality type of carbon fiber, is created using a “pre-preg” or impregnated piece of carbon material that is placed into a mold and then cured in a sealed vacuum (autoclave). This method is not only efficient, producing minimal waste, but also results in a lighter form of carbon compared to the “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process used in producing dry carbon ensures fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon, delivering an unmatched level of quality and durability.
