The engineers at Fabspeed are constantly innovating, and they recently embarked on a unique experiment. They integrated muffler bypass valves into the inlet pipes of the Maxflo Exhaust system to introduce an additional raw, race car-like tone at the touch of a button. The prototype system garnered significant attention and received positive feedback, while also demonstrating a notable increase in power. Valve System

• With the valves closed, the Maxflo mufflers emit a familiar, sporty, refined tone, devoid of any droning. Upon activating the factory Sport button or Fabspeed valve remote, the exhaust is unleashed through 48mm dump tubes, bypassing the mufflers entirely. This prompts a cacophony of burbling and crackling with each throttle application, filling the cabin with a thunderous roar at just the right volume level. Increasing the volume not only commands attention but also results in a performance boost of approximately 15whp and 19ft-lbs of torque at 4000rpm.
