Fabspeed’s Street Performance Package for the 982 Porsche 718 GT4, GTS and Spyder is the complete bolt-on transformation for Porsche’s 4.0-liter mid-engined cars, combining the company’s headers, X-pipe and link pipes into one matched exhaust. Built and dyno-developed by Fabspeed Motorsport, an American engineering house crafting exhaust systems for the world’s finest sports cars since 1988, the package pairs the RENNKRAFT modular headers and their HJS Sport Cats with the Valvetronic X-pipe and over-axle link pipes, adding 27 wheel horsepower and 19 ft-lbs of torque and shedding about 20 pounds while keeping the stock ECU tune. Fabspeed quotes the result at well over 400 wheel horsepower, with a quiet cruise and an exotic wide-open voice through the factory PSE valve, a complete package for one of the great modern driver’s Porsches.

What is included in the Fabspeed Street Performance Package for the 718 GT4, GTS and Spyder? The Street Performance Package combines the RENNKRAFT modular headers with German HJS 200-cell Sport Cats, the Valvetronic X-pipe exhaust, the over-axle link pipes, and a BMC F1 air filter. It is a complete bolt-on exhaust and intake package for the 4.0-liter 718.
How much power does it add? On Fabspeed’s dyno it adds 27 wheel horsepower and 19 ft-lbs of torque, with gains across the band from about 3,700 rpm, and it removes roughly 20 pounds. Fabspeed quotes the finished car at well over 400 wheel horsepower.
Does it keep the catalytic converters and need a tune? Yes, it keeps the factory catalytic converters and the German HJS Sport Cats, and it runs on the stock ECU tune, so no tuning is required. It carries a guaranteed no check-engine light on US models.
Does it fit the 718 GT4, GTS and Spyder? Yes. It fits the 2020 and newer 982 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 and GTS and the 718 Boxster Spyder and GTS with the 4.0-liter flat-six, in both PDK and manual. It does not fit the GT4 RS or Spyder RS.
Is it street legal? It keeps the factory catalytic converters and carries a guaranteed no check-engine light on US models, but it is not CARB approved, so it is not legal for sale or use in California. Check your local regulations before installing.
Early model or late model, which do I need? Porsche changed the exhaust brackets around the February 2020 build date, so the package comes in early-model and late-model fitments. Check your car’s build date or bracket style before ordering and choose the matching configuration.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US.
