Does the Accessport V3 for 9Y0 Porsche Cayenne work on the E-Hybrid?

Yes. COBB confirms the Cayenne E-Hybrid for 2019 to 2023 alongside the base, S and Turbo, with the GTS from 2021. The Accessport V3 for 9Y0 Porsche Cayenne models covers US-market vehicles with the automatic transmission and identifies the exact trim during installation.

Can I buy and use it in California?

Yes. COBB has since secured CARB approval, and the part now carries Executive Order numbers D-660-127, D-660-128, D-660-162 and D-660-349. That makes it legal for sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states when used in accordance with the COBB application guide.

Will it fit a Cayenne sold outside the United States?

No. Every vehicle on the COBB application list for this part number is a US-market Cayenne, so vehicles originally sold in other regions are not covered. If your Cayenne came from elsewhere, send Bulletproof Automotive the VIN before ordering and we will check with COBB for a suitable application.

Do I need a custom tune for my Cayenne?

No. All COBB performance maps for the listed trims are pre-loaded, so a stock Cayenne can be flashed straight away. A custom tune from a COBB tuner is an option when the vehicle carries modifications beyond what the off-the-shelf maps were written for, and the handheld stores up to 100 calibrations.

Can the tune be removed before a dealer visit?

Yes. The Uninstall option in the Accessport main menu reverts the ECU to exactly the condition it was in before installation. Run it before dealer service that involves software, or before selling the vehicle. Your maps stay saved on the handheld for reinstalling afterward.

Description

COBB Tuning Accessport V3 for 9Y0 Porsche Cayenne

COBB Tuning’s Accessport V3 for 9Y0 Porsche Cayenne models brings ECU flashing and live engine data to the US-market 2019 to 2023 Cayenne in base, E-Hybrid, S, GTS and Turbo form, all with the automatic transmission. COBB pre-loads every performance map for these trims, and four CARB Executive Orders now open it to California owners too. It makes the most sense on a Cayenne that works hard during the week and is still expected to feel quick on an open road. A vehicle bought outside the US is not covered.

Tuning and Support

Every COBB performance map for the listed trims arrives on the handheld, with space for 100 calibrations if a COBB tuner writes a custom map later. COBB publishes map notes and dyno charts for each map, the place to check expected gains for your trim, since a base Cayenne and a Turbo start from very different outputs. Uninstall reverts the ECU to exactly the state it was in before flashing.

Features

Pre-loaded COBB performance maps for the listed Cayenne trims
Higher resolution, full colour screen with up to six live gauges
Trouble code reading and clearing, which can save a dealer visit for a minor fault
Datalogging of multiple channels, up to 10 hours
Performance measurement for 0-60 mph, 60 foot, quarter-mile ET and trap speed
User-customizable start-up screen and interchangeable faceplates

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
