Valve System

• Such a capability is attained through the incorporation of vacuum-actuated valve flaps, shifting between opened and closed states in accordance with the subtleties of driving dynamics and driver interventions. When the engine is at modest speeds or is cruising, the valves sustain a sealed stance, producing a richer, more profound exhaust resonance. On the other hand, when the throttle is extensively engaged, the valves reveal, unleashing the full acoustic array of the engine.

Craftmanship

• The fabrication of Capristo exhaust systems combines intricate artistry and advanced technologies such as 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital Modeling, and CNC machining, executed within their distinguished German workshop. Each element is meticulously crafted from superior T309 (1.4828) stainless steel and polished manually to render a brilliant sheen. Post extensive assessment, this alloy was elected for its unparalleled acoustic purity, weight alleviation advantages, and persistent sturdiness — traits traditionally associated with the Inconel components witnessed in elite Formula 1 competitions.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust valves remain open
• The Cruise and Sport modes in the vehicle can be individually adjusted to set distinct backpressure boundaries, which, in turn, decide the activation instances of the exhaust valves. This grants precise control over the exhaust system, allowing alterations to suit the driver’s unique preferences and endurance.
