Akrapovič builds premium motorcycle and performance car exhaust systems with a focus on reduced weight, efficient flow, and a distinct sound signature backed by durable construction. Its Slovenia-based manufacturing includes an in-house titanium foundry and metallurgical lab, and its racing support across series like MotoGP and WorldSBK feeds real-world development into street and track applications.
This lightweight, hand-crafted carbon fiber wing is coated in a high-gloss lacquer. It is mounted on two swan neck brackets made from lightweight CNC-machined aluminum for the best balance of weight and performance. The brackets are optimized for the best possible strength and weight ratio. The bolts connecting the wing and brackets are high-grade titanium, and high-grade titanium reinforcements have been added at pivot points for better structural stability. The wing’s aerofoil design is inspired by motorsport and developed to achieve an extremely competitive downforce-to-drag ratio. A small lip at the trailing edge of the wing further increases downforce and performance. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been used to optimize the wing for the aerodynamics of the BMW M2, M3, and M4, ensuring the best possible functionality. Great care has been taken to ensure that the overall geometry of the wing does not cause additional air turbulence around the rear of the car or generate additional noise.
Akrapovič manufactures premium exhaust systems for motorcycles and performance cars, with a reputation for high-tech engineering and repeatable performance gains. The company focuses on advanced materials, light construction, and durability, building systems that are engineered for flow efficiency and long-term heat-cycle resistance. Its state-of-the-art factories in Slovenia include an in-house titanium foundry and a metallurgical laboratory, supporting tight control over materials and development. Akrapovič exhausts are known for a distinct sound signature alongside improved response and reduced weight. Craftsmanship and fitment quality are treated as functional requirements, not cosmetic features. Racing remains a core part of the brand’s development process, feeding real-world data back into production designs. Akrapovič provides technical services and support to top-level series including MotoGP, WorldSBK, MXGP, and DTM. With over 1,500 employees, the company sells in more than 80 countries and applies its racing know-how to both motorcycle and performance car exhaust platforms.
