How much does the Boost Logic Titanium Exhaust System for RZ34 weigh?

Boost Logic states the Titanium Exhaust System for RZ34 weighs just under 20 lbs. The weight comes from dual 3 inch titanium tubing and titanium mufflers throughout the system. Boost Logic does not publish the factory exhaust weight for comparison, so the exact saving on a given car is not stated in its listing.

Which tip styles are available?

Two tip styles are offered at the same price: the standard slash cut tip and an F16 style tip. Tell Bulletproof Automotive which style you want when ordering. The product photos show a slash cut tip with an engraved BOOSTLOGIC logo and an F16 style tip in blued titanium.

Will the exhaust drone on the highway?

Boost Logic designed a custom dual X pipe into the system to give it a unique tone and reduce drone. It does not publish decibel figures, so the result on a given car depends on the rest of the setup, but the X pipe layout is the feature Boost Logic uses to keep cruising noise in check.

Does the exhaust add horsepower?

Boost Logic states that the dual titanium mufflers increase power and performance as well as improving sound, but it does not publish dyno figures for the system. Treat any gain as unquantified, and plan any tuning changes with a preferred tuner if the car runs other modifications.

Is the exhaust legal for street use?

Boost Logic does not state a noise or emissions certification for this system. Exhaust rules differ from state to state, and the listing carries the emissions warning that applies to exhaust products on Bulletproof Automotive, so check the regulations where the car is registered and driven before using it on public roads.

Description

Boost Logic Formula Series Titanium Exhaust System for RZ34 Nissan Z

Boost Logic’s Titanium Exhaust System for RZ34 Nissan Z is a Formula Series system that weighs just under 20 lbs, built from dual 3-inch titanium tubing with a custom dual X pipe and dual titanium mufflers. Boost Logic uses the X pipe layout to give the twin-turbo VR30DDTT a distinctive tone while reducing drone, and states the mufflers add power as well as sound, though it publishes no dyno figure. Buyers choose a slash cut or F16 style tip. It suits a Z owner who wants a lighter, sharper-sounding exhaust for the street and track days, and it is sold on weight and tone rather than a measured power gain.

Design and Performance

The dual X pipe joins the two exhaust banks of the V6 ahead of the mufflers, which is how Boost Logic shapes the tone and cuts drone at cruising speed. Titanium keeps the full system just under 20 lbs while standing up to exhaust heat.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
