The Flow Forming Process

• The process initiates with the meticulous attachment of a wheel-shaped mold onto the rotating flow forming machine, which is subsequently subjected to heat. Hydraulic rollers are then deployed to exert precise pressure on the barrel, facilitating the expansion of the wheel. To achieve the desired width, the material undergoes meticulous manipulation and adjustment through careful stretching and compressing techniques. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is enhanced, resulting in a final composition that strikingly resembles a factory-produced wheel, boasting both reduced weight and increased strength.

This meticulous process ensures adherence to SAE and TUV standards while preserving the optimal contour of the components.
