The Aragosta Type–E series of shock absorbers is designed for performance and comfort. This series shares several advanced characteristics with the Type-S and Type-SS models, including low-friction WPC-treated inverted struts, adjustable Rana springs, a specialized synthetic damping fluid, and Aragosta‘s distinct low–friction seals. Additionally, the Type–E has 12–step rebound adjustment knobs on the bottom of the dampers (not applicable for some vehicles) and pillowball upper mounts (camber adjustable mounts are available for applicable applications).

• This cylinder is fashioned using a high–pressure forged aluminum, made with an advanced film treatment and coated in Kashima. Added molybdenum impregnation provides excellent lubricity that surpasses conventional hard alumite treatments when it comes to reducing friction and boosting durability. You‘ll experience great linearity, smoothness as well as increased traction capacity from this ultra lightweight product.

High-Precision Machining with the Highest Priority on Performance

• Cylinder processing accuracy is of the utmost importance to Aragosta, who can extend surface roughness values up to 0.2 microns and 2/10000mm for both steel and aluminum cylinders alike. • All Aragostas come with the rana springs pre–installed, a series type spring that represents excellence and is built to last. Their linear character allows for optimal use of the damper providing maximum performance.

• Damper pistons and needles enable Aragosta to perform extremely well, from low speeds all the way up to a sport performance. Furthermore, changes in its external damping force can be adjusted with 20 steps of smooth options that give immediate feedback of each click for maximum customizability.

• The inverted cartridge cylinder benefits from precision shot peening (WPC processing), the foremost technology for metal surface modification. Furthermore, wear coefficient has been reduced and oil retention in sway parts drastically improved on models with high sway resistance – demonstrating a commitment to optimal performance , even when investing time and money into unseen components.
