AWE Tuning Track Exhaust – Diamond Black Tips (Fits High-Flow DP) for Mk7 Volkswagen Jetta GLI

The AWE Tuning Track Exhaust for the Mk7 Volkswagen Jetta GLI, designed to work with the high-flow downpipe, is a 3” stainless steel cat-back system focused on delivering a more aggressive and unfiltered exhaust character. Unlike the Touring Edition, it removes the drone-canceling resonator, allowing the mid-range and high-RPM tones to be more pronounced while still remaining controlled at lower speeds. The system features a straight-through midpipe and rear section to maintain consistent exhaust velocity and reduce restrictions, and the diamond black 102mm tips integrate cleanly with the rear valance. Installation uses factory mounting points, preserves emissions compliance, and the system is engineered for consistent fitment, tonal balance, and performance across all driving conditions.

Track Edition Exhaust

• The Track Edition Exhaust is aimed at drivers who want a more aggressive, unfiltered sound. It keeps the same integrated front pipe, midpipe resonator, and precision engineering as the Touring Edition, but replaces the rear 180 Technology® drone-canceling resonator with a straight-through section. This results in a louder, more pronounced tone during mid-range acceleration and deceleration, which may be intense for some drivers.

Exhaust Tips

• Both Touring and Track Editions feature configurable tips, letting owners switch between dual or triple 4.5” slash-cut setups using the included stamped tip connections. The tips are 4.5” double-walled, offered in chrome silver or diamond black, branded with the AWE logo, and adjustable in depth to suit personal preference.

Nope, It’s Not Valved

• AWE studied the factory exhaust valve across driving modes and found that volume is mostly consistent, with the valve closed only in Comfort mode until a throttle threshold is reached. In Sport and Sport+ modes, the valve remains open, with Sport+ adding ECU-controlled burbles. Stock routing directs exhaust through the side mufflers when the valve is closed to reduce cabin noise and drone, and through the center section when open.

Conversion Kits

• The system allows for simple switching between Track and Touring Editions, as well as between dual and triple tip configurations, giving flexibility to adjust sound and appearance over time.
