The AWE S-FLO Closed Carbon Intake System for the 8V/8Y Audi RS 3 and MK3 TT RS keeps a sealed airbox design but reworks it with a larger carbon fiber housing and a high-flow filter to improve airflow without exposing the intake to excess engine bay heat. By maintaining a closed system, it draws in cooler, more consistent air while still reducing restriction ahead of the turbocharger, which can help with smoother power delivery and more stable performance, especially in warmer conditions or during repeated pulls. The carbon fiber construction helps insulate against heat soak better than traditional materials, and the system is engineered to fit cleanly within the factory mounting points, preserving an OEM-like layout while offering a more efficient intake path and a slightly more pronounced, but still controlled, induction sound.

S-FLO Closed Carbon Intake System

• The S-FLO Closed Carbon Intake System integrates all components of the S-FLO package with a custom carbon fiber air compartment. Spanning the full width of the grille, it captures ram air from the front of the vehicle and directs it to the S-FLO filter. Its 2×2 carbon fiber construction minimizes heat soak during aggressive driving, while the larger air box ensures the 2.5T engine receives a steady supply of fresh air. The system can increase power by up to 17 hp and 6 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels, allowing the engine to maintain performance under higher-than-stock boost levels.
