AWE Track Edition Exhaust for G2X BMW M340i & M440i

The AWE Track Edition Exhaust for the G2X BMW M340i and BMW M440i removes the sound-canceling components of the Touring Edition in favor of straight-through piping, allowing the B58 inline-six to project a more direct, aggressive tone. The system emphasizes clarity and resonance under throttle, with a sharper, more pronounced character during spirited driving and higher RPMs, while still maintaining control at cruising speeds. Engineered from T304L stainless steel as a full direct bolt-on, it integrates with the factory valve system and fits precisely within the stock rear valance, delivering a more engaging exhaust experience that balances performance-oriented sound with everyday drivability.

Exhaust Tips

• Each system comes with three 4.5″ double-walled, slash-cut tips, offered in chrome silver or diamond black, each with a stamped AWE logo. Tips are individually adjustable, so you can fine-tune how they sit in the bumper to your preference

Nope, It’s Not Valved

• During R&D, AWE closely studied how the factory valve behaves across different driving conditions. They found it doesn’t meaningfully change overall volume between modes. The valve stays closed only in Comfort mode and opens once a certain throttle input is reached. In Sport and Sport+, it remains open, with Sport+ adding ECU-controlled burbles. In the stock layout, exhaust flow is directed through the side mufflers when the valve is closed to keep cabin volume down and limit drone, and through the center section when the valve is open.
