As exhaust gases exit the engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically placed ports and into reflection chambers. Sound waves travel with those gases and bounce off the chamber walls, and AWE acoustic engineers size and position each port and chamber based on the sound targets for that specific vehicle. Those dimensions control exactly when the reflected waves exit the chambers and feed back into the main exhaust flow. Get that timing right, and the returning wave runs 180 degrees out of phase with the unwanted frequencies, canceling them out before they reach the cabin.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
