The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 is built for drivers who want a more defined exhaust note without the constant drone that can come with freer-flowing systems. It uses AWE’s 180 Technology® resonators to manage low-frequency cabin noise while still allowing the 6.2L LT2 V8 to sound fuller and more present under throttle. The quad chrome silver tips fill out the rear valance cleanly and match the car’s factory lines without looking oversized or out of place. Constructed from T304L stainless steel, the system is designed as a direct bolt-on, retaining compatibility with the Corvette’s factory valve system if equipped. What is 180 Technology?

• AWE’s 180 Technology® is designed to remove unwanted exhaust frequencies, delivering a clean, defined AWE tone without compromising performance.
• Exhaust gases enter a resonator equipped with 180 Technology® and are routed through carefully positioned ports into reflection chambers.
• AWE’s acoustic engineers adjust the size and placement of these ports and chambers for each vehicle, controlling when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow.
• When timed correctly, the reflected waves are 180 degrees out of phase with the original sound, effectively canceling drone and other disruptive frequencies.
• Each system is tailored to the unique acoustic profile of the vehicle rather than using a universal design, ensuring consistent results.

Exhaust Tips

• Each exhaust system comes with three 4.5-inch double-walled, slash-cut tips in chrome silver or diamond black, each stamped with the AWE logo, and the tips can be individually adjusted to control how far they extend from the bumper for a tailored fit and appearance.

Nope, It’s Not Valved

• During development, AWE thoroughly examined the factory exhaust valve across a range of driving conditions and found no significant change in overall volume between modes, with the valve remaining closed only in Comfort mode and opening once a throttle threshold is reached; in Sport and Sport+ it stays open, with Sport+ adding ECU-controlled burbles, and in the stock setup, exhaust is routed through the side mufflers when the valve is closed to reduce cabin volume and minimize drone, and through the center section when open for a more direct flow.
