The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust with Diamond Black RS-Style Tips is a direct bolt-on cat-back system built for the B9.5 Audi RS 5 Coupe, handcrafted from dual 3″ CNC mandrel-bent .065″-wall T304L stainless steel sourced in the US. Downpipes and a precision-engineered X-pipe are included across all editions, and the straight-through design keeps airflow unrestricted while AWE’s patented 180 Technology® handles drone elimination for a deep, clean tone at any speed. Standard fitment includes 180mm Diamond Black RS-style tips, with resonated cat-back options available for builds running aftermarket catalysts. Track Edition

• The Track Edition keeps everything that makes the Touring Edition precise, the X-pipe, the 3″ diameter tubing, and the same build quality, but removes the 180 Technology® resonator for an unfiltered result. It gets loud and aggressive through the mid-range and at cruising speeds, and that level of intensity is not going to suit every driver. Worth knowing before purchasing: this version cannot be returned due to sound preference. Buy accordingly.

What is 180 Technology?

• Exhaust gases leaving the RS 5 Sportback’s 2.9L engine pass through precisely placed ports and into reflection chambers inside the AWE 180 Technology® resonator. The sound waves those gases carry bounce off the chamber walls, and by dialing in the size and placement of the ports and chambers, AWE determines exactly when the reflected waves re-enter the main flow. That timing generates a 180-degree out-of-phase wave that eliminates the problematic frequencies at the source. Science, engineering, or 180 Technology® by AWE; take your pick.
