BRIDE‘s super seat rails are crafted with precision after taking accurate measurements of full–scale cars, whose shapes vary, by hand and forming a master rail. The company then uses mass production techniques to produce the tools necessary for mass production.

Using a computer to design rails is an option, however, instead of setting parameters and ranges, they meticulously craft each component with exact measurements taken by hand. This allows for no excess gaps between bolt holes, and the best possible fit between the frame and seat rail, and the seat and seat rail. Nine models of reclining seats, and ten models of full bucket seats are designed for various applications, and can create an ideal seat position for more than 800 car models.

Utilizes Sliders Made By Faurecia Exclusively For BRIDE

• BRIDE exclusively sources the sliders, a fundamental component of the BRIDE super seat rail, from Faurecia (France), a premier global manufacturer of mechanical parts
• The sliders, possessing 2.0mm thick upper rails and 2.3mm thick lower rails, are securely fastened to both sides, don‘t shake, and possess remarkable strength and longevity. It has a 10 mm pitch and the slide distance is 220 mm.

The safety benchmark comprises 6 items–“seat back rear surface crash test”, “head restraint forward crash test”, “head restraint static test”, “seat and seat mounting test”, “seat belt mounting test”, and “flame resistance test”–in which a great amount of force is applied to the seats assuming an accident to check whether the seats are damaged and whether they can be maintained for the regulated time, and to confirm the safety of the seats.
• Also, BRIDE’s seats are the first seats produced in Japan to be licensed by FIA, and they provide 9 models which can be used in international races. In order to maintain and improve product quality to pass safety benchmarks and strict FIA strength tests, BRIDE conducts thorough management of its manufacturing process.
