BRIDE utilizes precise measurements of actual cars to create master seat rails that are strong and precise. Then, using mass production techniques, BRIDE creates the tools to manufacture the rails in bulk.

Using a computer to design rails is possible, but to get the most accurate results, each part is measured by hand. Doing so eliminates any gaps between bolt holes and increases the fit of the frame to the seat rail and the seat to the seat rail. Nine models for reclining seats and ten models for full bucket seats are prepared for various applications and more than 800 car models have their optimum seat positions attained.

Utilizes Sliders Made By Faurecia Exclusively For BRIDE

• BRIDE has exclusively partnered with Faurecia (France), a premier producer of mechanical components, to provide the vital sliders for the BRIDE super seat rail.
• The sliders have 2.0 mm thick upper rails and 2.3 mm thick lower rails, and are designed to be locked on both the left and right sides for a secure fit that won‘t rattle. They are 10 mm pitch and have a slide amount of 220 mm, providing superior strength and durability.

The safety benchmark comprises 6 items–“seat back rear surface crash test”, “head restraint forward crash test”, “head restraint static test”, “seat and seat mounting test”, “seat belt mounting test”, and “flame resistance test”–in which a great amount of force is applied to the seats assuming an accident to check whether the seats are damaged and whether they can be maintained for the regulated time, and to confirm the safety of the seats.
• Also, BRIDE’s seats are the first seats produced in Japan to be licensed by FIA, and they provide 9 models which can be used in international races. In order to maintain and improve product quality to pass safety benchmarks and strict FIA strength tests, BRIDE conducts thorough management of its manufacturing process.

In order to provide high quality seats, craftsmen with the highly refined skills to manufacture by hand, materials developed with advanced technology such as shells and cloth, and the logistics to manufacture and ship to the market with stability are all essential.
