Eventuri Matte Carbon Intake System for C190 and R190 Mercedes-AMG GT / GTR / GTS

The AMG GTR Eventuri intake is a fully sealed system, developed through extensive real-world testing and airflow simulations. It features Eventuri’s patented Venturi housings, which ensure the smoothest possible airflow to the turbo inlets. The housings encase bespoke filters designed to shape airflow and maintain laminar conditions, while the internal volume has been maximized to reduce restrictions. In redesigning the system, Eventuri also modified the OEM central cover to accommodate the larger intake setup. Intake air temperatures remain stable thanks to the sealed ducts connected to the filter housings. The AMG GTR intake system has been independently tested by renowned Mercedes tuner RENNtech, showing improved performance for both stock and tuned engines. Each system includes a carbon central cover for a complete engine bay finish.

The Eventuri Difference

• The AMG GTR Eventuri intake system uses patented carbon fiber housings with Gen 2 bespoke filters, creating an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Unlike conventional cone filters with heat shields, Eventuri’s design invokes the Venturi effect, maintaining laminar flow and reducing drag on the turbos.

Patented Venturi Filter Housing Assembly

• The AMG GT filter housings consist of bespoke high-flow filters, aluminum cowls, laser-cut brackets, and carbon pods. The reverse-mounted filters are enclosed by carbon pods, which shape the airflow smoothly down to the turbo. This reduction in cross-sectional area invokes the Venturi effect, reducing internal pressure while maintaining laminar flow, acting like a large velocity stack. The one-piece housings replace the OEM airboxes and flexible inlet tubes, providing a more direct airflow path.

Carbon Center Cover

• To accommodate the larger filter housings, the OEM center cover was redesigned. The new carbon fiber cover prevents interference with the filter housings and gives the engine bay a polished appearance. Featuring a V-shaped carbon weave pattern for symmetry, the cover includes a recess for mounting the OEM engine build plaque.

Carbon Intake Ducts

• The intake ducts channel ambient air from the front grille to the filter housings. They connect to the OEM ducting system and smoothly transition to the circular shape of the filter housings. For optimal heat protection, flexible rubber edging seals the connection, allowing the housings to move with the engine while preventing heat from entering. The duct volume has been maximized for efficiency, and their design ensures perfect fitment and clearance in the engine bay.
