Does the Eventuri E9X M3 intake fit my car?

Yes. The Eventuri E9X M3 intake fits the E90, E92, and E93 BMW M3 equipped with the 4.0L S65 V8. It is engineered specifically for the S65 and its factory airbox layout, so it is not compatible with other BMW engines. Verify your car runs the S65 V8 before ordering.

How much power does it add?

Eventuri's testing shows dyno gains of 8 to 10 hp and 10 to 12 ft-lb, road dyno gains of up to 16 hp, and a 100 to 200 kph acceleration improvement of about 0.3 seconds, along with reduced intake temperatures. The gains come with sharper throttle response while keeping OEM-level drivability.

Do I need a tune to run this intake?

No. The Eventuri E9X M3 intake is engineered as a complete, balanced bolt-on that works with the factory calibration, so no tune is required to install it or realize its gains. It preserves the factory airbox strategy, which is part of how it keeps drivability at OEM level.

How does it make power without hurting drivability?

Eventuri keeps the well-designed factory airbox and instead targets the downstream restrictions, replacing the factory inlet tube with a sculpted carbon tube and adding a carbon inlet scoop for more ambient air. This raises airflow velocity and lowers intake temperatures, so power rises while response and refinement stay OEM-like.

What replacement filter does it use?

The Eventuri E9X M3 intake uses the Type E filter, part number EVE-991-FTR, and one filter services the system. It is a high-flow cone filter. Keep a spare on hand for scheduled cleaning or replacement so airflow and filtration stay consistent over time.

What is included in the kit?

The system includes the carbon fiber intake tube, a carbon fiber inlet scoop, a high-flow cone filter, a CNC-machined breather adapter, a laser-cut stainless steel debris guard, and a silicone coupler with OEM-spec clamps. It is designed and hand-assembled in the UK.

Description

Eventuri Gloss Carbon Intake System for E90 / E92 / E93 BMW M3

The Eventuri E9X M3 intake is an airflow upgrade for the E90, E92, and E93 BMW M3, engineered to sharpen the performance and induction character of BMW M’s high-revving 4.0L S65 V8 while keeping the balance and drivability that define the car. Eventuri’s analysis of the well-built OEM airbox found airflow restrictions downstream that limit breathing at higher RPM, so the system replaces the restrictive factory inlet tube with a sculpted carbon fiber tube that raises airflow velocity and cuts pressure loss without disrupting the factory airbox strategy. A dedicated carbon fiber inlet scoop feeds more ambient air into the box, lowering intake temperatures versus stock and supporting stronger, more consistent power under load. Rather than chasing peak numbers, Eventuri built it as a complete, balanced solution with measurable horsepower and torque gains, sharper throttle response, and quicker acceleration at OEM-level refinement.

About Eventuri

Eventuri was founded by a team of engineers and enthusiasts with backgrounds in aeronautics and tuning, all sharing a passion for cars and performance. After owning various aftermarket intakes over the years and being disappointed with gains that seldom lived up to their claims, they decided to take things into their own hands and set a new benchmark in intake design and technology. The goal was to engineer systems that provide real, measurable gains and to publish genuine figures to back them up. Their systems are developed using cutting-edge design, testing, and prototyping methods. Each design undergoes CFD analysis and is validated at the prototype stage through volumetric airflow measurement, intake temperature testing, and extensive dynamometer testing. Eventuri publishes all development data to illustrate the full process from concept to finished product. Only the best materials are selected for every component, down to the choice of fasteners, to ensure the quality of the final product is second to none.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
