Does the Eventuri E46 M3 intake fit my car?

The Eventuri E46 M3 intake fits the BMW E46 M3 with the S54 3.2L inline-six. It is engineered specifically for the S54, so non-M E46 models with other engines are not compatible. It installs using the factory mounting locations with the supplied brackets and BMW-spec hardware, so no modification is required on an E46 M3.

How much power does the Eventuri E46 M3 intake add?

Eventuri documents dyno-proven gains of roughly 10 to 15 horsepower and 8 to 12 ft-lb of torque on the S54. The gains come from smoothing airflow through the patented Venturi housing, which strengthens mid-range pull and top-end response while suiting the high-revving character of the E46 M3 engine.

Do I need a tune for the Eventuri E46 M3 intake?

No. The Eventuri E46 M3 intake is fully compatible with the factory ECU calibration and MAF sensor, so no tune is required. The CNC-machined MAF tube keeps the OEM sensor reading correctly, letting the intake deliver its gains while preserving stock drivability and reliability.

How does the Venturi housing differ from a cone filter?

Unlike an exposed cone filter on a basic heat shield, the Eventuri E46 M3 intake uses a true Venturi housing that manages airflow velocity and reduces turbulence before the air reaches the engine. This promotes laminar flow for more efficient breathing across the rev range, rather than simply exposing a filter to engine bay air.

Does the intake keep intake temperatures down?

Yes. The Eventuri E46 M3 intake pairs a dedicated prepreg carbon air scoop with multi-piece aluminum heat shields and neoprene lining to channel cooler ambient air into the tract. This isolates the filter from engine bay heat and helps keep intake air temperatures stable even under demanding driving.

Which replacement filter does it use?

The Eventuri E46 M3 intake uses one high-flow filter. The replacement is Eventuri part EVE-661-G2-FTR, the Type B filter. Because it is a dry filter, it can be cleaned and reused rather than discarded, which keeps the Venturi housing flowing correctly over the long term.

Description

Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for E46 BMW M3

The Eventuri E46 M3 intake is a prepreg carbon fiber induction system engineered specifically for the legendary S54 inline-six, delivering measurable gains in airflow efficiency, throttle response, and induction sound. Built around Eventuri’s patented carbon fiber Venturi housing, it creates a smooth, uninterrupted path from the filter to the MAF sensor so the engine breathes more freely while keeping OEM-level drivability. Rather than an exposed cone filter on a basic heat shield, the true Venturi housing manages airflow velocity and cuts turbulence before the air reaches the engine, promoting laminar flow for stronger mid-range pull, sharper top-end, and a throttle character that suits the high-revving S54. Dyno testing, road validation, and temperature monitoring back documented gains of roughly 10 to 15 horsepower and 8 to 12 ft-lb of torque, all while staying fully compatible with the factory ECU calibration and MAF sensor. A dedicated prepreg carbon air scoop and insulated heat shielding channel cooler ambient air into the tract to hold intake temperatures stable under load.

About Eventuri

Eventuri was founded by a team of engineers and enthusiasts with backgrounds in aeronautics and tuning, all sharing a passion for cars and performance. After owning various aftermarket intakes over the years and being disappointed with gains that seldom lived up to their claims, they decided to take things into their own hands and set a new benchmark in intake design and technology. The goal was to engineer systems that provide real, measurable gains and to publish genuine figures to back them up. Their systems are developed using cutting-edge design, testing, and prototyping methods. Each design undergoes CFD analysis and is validated at the prototype stage through volumetric airflow measurement, intake temperature testing, and extensive dynamometer testing. Eventuri publishes all development data to illustrate the full process from concept to finished product. Only the best materials are selected for every component, down to the choice of fasteners, to ensure the quality of the final product is second to none.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
