• Maximizing the use of ‘bedding‘ is essential to ensure that circuit–specific pads are able to reach their full capability, even when exposed to high temperatures. This requires preheating the pads before pushing them to their limits, to prevent any harm due to extreme temperatures.
• Drivers competing in the highest–level forms of motor racing, such as SUPER GT, WRC, and select European events, must be properly equipped with a suitable bedding set–up.
• It is essential to do a proper bedding–in process prior to using semi–metallic brake pads so that the brakes can work optimally when they are hot, and to extend the service life of both the brake pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When working with a new product on a circuit, warm up the rotor to a range of 400–500° C and be mindful not to apply too much pressure when stopping. Once that is done, you can add atari and then let the rotor cool down by itself to a temperature of 100° C or lower to complete the process.
