Forged Monobloc Caliper Body

• Endless has been continuously pushing the boundaries of quality forging with its ‘never–ending challenge‘. After four years of conception and a year of prototyping, the Monobloc Calipers endured several thousand tons of pressure to be forged and molded. Testing and change of specifications was done numerous times to ensure a body that was both lightweight and resilient enough to compete in races. Its complex piston cylinder was solved with advanced special technology and the final product was finished with ultra–hard anodized aluminum.

“E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

• The distinct features of the E–Slit Rotor are its long slit, that gracefully curves and its E slit found above it. The long slit gently molds the brake pad while the E slit applies an intense braking force. It is recommended to replace the rotor once the long slit on the rotor disappears and the letter E is visible. It is recommended to replace the brake rotor at least once every two years, even during periods when it is in use, since it may experience aging deterioration such as rust and corrosion.

Ultra-Hard Alumite Caliper Body

• Our monoblock series caliper body is made of ultra–hard alumite and the rotor bell housing is covered with a tough ram coat. This helps prevent discoloration of the alumite at high temperatures while driving on a race track.

Hard Anodized Finish

• The end result of the anodizing process is a hard finish that is ideal for track use. This is because aluminum oxidation naturally produces a protective layer of aluminum oxide, which is more resistant to abrasion than paint or powder coating. This process builds on this natural reaction and forms an even harder layer of aluminum oxide on the aluminum surface that is better able to withstand the rigorous of track conditions.

E-Slit

Special Heat Treatment Process

To mitigate this, sections of the rotor are subjected to a specific heat treatment to provide normalization, meaning fewer heat cracks when the rotor is running. This has extended the lifespan of the rotor, so it can be used regularly without worry.

About Bedding

• To achieve peak performance from a pad designed to handle extreme heat, it must undergo a bedding process. This necessitates the pads be preheated prior to any heavy use, enabling them to reach peak operational conditions.
• Only the topmost level of racers take part in competitions such as SUPER GT, WRC and European contests, thus necessitating the best quality of bedding.
• It is essential that semi–metallic brake pads are appropriately broken in to sustain a high performance rate and lengthen the life of the pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When you are operating a vehicle that has been fitted with a new product, make sure to raise the rotor temperature to between 400–500°C, being conscious to not brake hard. Furthermore, add atari and once the temperature is back down to 100°C or less, the process is complete.
