Blue Anodized Finish

• When raw aluminum reacts with the oxygen in the air, a hard surface film develops on aluminum which prevents further degradation. The process is called oxidation, and you can think of it like rust. The anodizing process leverages this natural phenomenon, and takes it a step further to produce an extremely hard protective layer of aluminum oxide. The result is a finish that is far more appropriate for racetrack use. Anodizing creates a uniform surface that is much more abrasion resistant than paint or powder coat.

Special Heat Treatment Process

• The intense and prolonged use of the rotor can cause surface heating and a contracting effect, leading to tiny fractures known as heat cracks. The adapter bracket spaces the factory caliper outward, allowing for the larger diameter disc. Combined with Endless stainless brake lines, you can expect increased performance and better pedal feel.

About Bedding

• For a pad that is designed to deal with high temperatures to reach its highest performance, a process known as ‘bedding‘ must be followed. This process requires that the pads are preheated before any heavy use can take place, which allows the pads to reach their optimal working conditions.
• Participants competing at the elite level of motorsport racing, such as SUPER GT, WRC and several European events, all require the highest quality of bedding.
• Before using semi–metallic brake pads, it is important to bed them properly in order to maintain high temperature efficiency and extend the lifespan of the pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When operating a vehicle fitted with a new product, increase the rotor temperature to a range between 400–500°C and take care not to brake hard. Add atari, and when the temperature drops to 100°C or below, the process is finished.
