Two system variants are available; the KW DDC ECU, which includes the option of App-based control, and the KW DDC Plug & Play, developed for select models equipped with factory electronic dampers.

• With the KW DDC Plug & Play system, installation is seamless — only the factory adaptive suspension is replaced, with no need to modify stock wiring or perform additional conversions. The KW DDC Plug & Play coilovers connect directly to the vehicle’s original plugs, enabling continued use of existing interior suspension controls to toggle between damping modes.

• Installation involves replacing the factory electronic struts with KW’s Inox-Line stainless steel coilover struts. No additional modifications are necessary — the existing damping control button continues to operate the new KW DDC Plug & Play system.
• This setup combines the performance and ride quality of KW coilovers with full compatibility with factory electronic damping controls. At the push of a button, the driver can select Comfort, Normal, or Sport modes — each tuned specifically for the KW coilover system. The ride height is individually adjustable within KW’s tested range, and the system is recognized by the vehicle’s on-board electronics, ensuring all original displays and controls remain fully functional.
