The AWE Resonated Touring Edition Exhaust for the A90/A91 Toyota GR Supra uses a 3-inch T304L stainless steel cat-back design developed to balance exhaust flow with controlled acoustics for the B58 engine. A mid-pipe resonator works with AWE’s 180 Technology® rear section to smooth out harsh frequencies and reduce cabin drone, resulting in a deeper, more refined exhaust note that remains comfortable during highway driving. The straight-through construction supports consistent turbo response and drivability without introducing unnecessary restriction. It is finished with 5-inch Diamond Black tips that add a darker, understated look while maintaining the durable materials and precise fitment expected from a Supra-specific exhaust system.

What is 180 Technology?

• Patented 180 Technology® manages exhaust sound by routing gases through strategically placed ports and reflection chambers within the resonator.
• Sound waves bounce off the chamber walls; the size and location of ports and chambers are tuned for each vehicle to control when the waves exit.
• The timing of the reflected waves rejoining the main exhaust flow produces a 180-degree out-of-phase effect, canceling drone and other unwanted frequencies.
• Not a “one size fits all” system—resonators are designed specifically for each vehicle’s acoustics to maintain consistent, precise tone.
• The result is a clean, balanced exhaust note with unwanted tones removed, preserving performance while providing a signature, full-bodied sound.

Exhaust Tips

• Each exhaust system comes with three 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips in either chrome silver or diamond black, each stamped with the AWE logo. The tips are fully adjustable, letting you set their depth into the bumper to suit your visual preference and achieve the look you want.

Nope, It’s Not Valved

• During development, AWE thoroughly examined how the factory exhaust valve behaves across different driving conditions and found that volume changes are minimal in modes that use the valve. The valve stays closed only in Comfort mode, opening once a certain throttle threshold is reached, while in Sport and Sport+ it remains open, with Sport+ adding ECU-controlled burbles. In the stock setup, exhaust flow is routed through the side mufflers when the valve is closed to reduce cabin volume and minimize drone, and through the center when the valve is open.

• AWE has designed the system so that switching between Track and Touring Editions is straightforward, allowing for adjustments to interior volume without requiring complex modifications.
