Using Solidworks Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, they have devoted significant time and expertise to ensure optimal design and performance. The selection of high-quality materials and meticulous component design have been key priorities throughout the development process. Constructed from billet 6061 T6 aluminum, this intake manifold undergoes precise CNC machining to guarantee a flawless fit. It can then be customized with your preferred color and finish from their in-house custom shop.
The performance of an intake manifold greatly relies on the proper functioning of the plenum. In the context of the R8 and Huracan, each engine bank is equipped with its plenum. It is crucial to ensure that these plenums are appropriately sized to achieve the desired volume. Moreover, shaping them in a manner that facilitates the even distribution of charged air among the precisely machined CNC aluminum velocity stacks leading into the runners provides additional advantages. Both billet aluminum plenums are meticulously shaped and tapered to effectively channel charged air, reducing turbulence and enhancing the delivery of charged air to the engine, thereby optimizing performance.

Additionally, the manifold comes complete with an assortment of AN ORB fittings in various sizes, facilitating compatibility with factory lines or custom vacuum line setups.
Tailored for boosted applications, the AMS V10 Billet Intake Manifold incorporates features that are absent in the naturally aspirated V10 engine of the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan. Notably, the manifold includes two extra ports that can accommodate dual Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors. This provision proves particularly advantageous when utilizing Syvecs or MoTeC engine management systems, as these systems can effectively utilize the dual MAP sensor inputs to accurately measure and regulate boost levels, ensuring precise control and optimization of performance.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
