David’s car just keeps evolving! Not satisfied with having the first full Rocketbunny kit in America, David decided to to upgrade the front bumper to the Overtake Front Bumper kit to match the Overtake Vented Hood’s aggression. GT-RR were lucky enough to be the first to drive this epic beast at the Targa Trophy MEGARUN through San Diego, to Scottsdale, to Las Vegas, and ended in Hollywood. The trip was truly something special to be able to drive and see a car like this for hundreds of miles in such a short time period with no issues.
GT-RR is extremely happy to have helped a loyal customer like David to be apart of the FIRST Rocket Bunny R35 GT-R build in the United Sates. No one is more deserving of this extremely unique GT-R than David is. He is the father of an 8 year old boy and is just 22 himself. Despite providing for his family, he made the time to do most of the bodywork himself. David started off with mild modifications but soon wanted some thing truly one of a kind. Despite taking design cues from GT3 racers, David still drives this car everyday to drop off his kid and work. He does take it out to Laguna race track when he has free time and has put down a respectable 1:38 lap time. Once this car was finished being tuned, it put down 930 whp but was tuned down to a more reliable 797hp. This car is filled with details that are jaw dropping.
