How the DFV System Works

Öhlins’ Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology is the mechanism that makes a single kit work across two very different driving environments. One turn of the gold knob adjusts all four damping zones simultaneously: low-speed compression, high-speed compression, low-speed rebound, and high-speed rebound. Clockwise puts the car in race mode; back the other direction returns it to road mode. The swap takes seconds and requires no tools. On track, the DFV internals respond quickly to surface changes, keeping all four tires loaded and in contact with the road.
