Engineered Art

• Vossen blends the precision of custom-forged wheels with the cost-effectiveness of cast wheels. With their custom CNC machining, nearly any bolt pattern, center bore, and offset can be created with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

Design

• To ensure a perfect fit, Vossen measures more than 100 data points for each vehicle, allowing each wheel to be custom-built for specific makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are made using a proprietary forging method, enabling an optimized spoke profile. This process adds extra material to the face of the wheel, allowing for profiles that range from flat to deeply concave, giving an 8.5” wide wheel the concavity typically found on a 12.5” wide wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing department uses cutting-edge technology to achieve superior finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen ensures high-quality results by controlling each step of the process.
  • Hand Preparation: Step 1 – After the machining stage, every wheel is meticulously hand-sanded and deburred for a flawless finish. Wheels with a brushed finish undergo an intensive hand-sanding process that can take up to five hours per wheel to create a uniform brushed look.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most labor-intensive and satisfying part of the process is brushing and polishing, both of which are available across the Vossen Forged range. Brushed wheels highlight the natural beauty of the forged aluminum grain, while full ceramic polishing creates a reflective, mirror-like finish. Combining these techniques results in a high-end appearance.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – Following hand preparation, all wheels go through a seven-stage pre-treatment cleansing process to remove impurities, ensuring a strong and consistent powder coat finish.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s dedicated in-house powder coating facility, built specifically for wheels, employs advanced equipment and premium powders to achieve a durable, uniform finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, each wheel undergoes a final inspection to ensure the finish meets Vossen’s standards. A film thickness gauge is used to confirm uniformity before the wheels are cleaned and packed for shipping.

Center Caps

• Vossen’s center caps are designed to offer durability and a seamless aesthetic. Available in polished or brushed finishes, the caps feature the signature red “V” shield as standard. Standard finishes are included at no additional cost, with the option to color match the wheel for an extra charge. For an upgraded look, Vossen also offers Forged Billet Caps with custom “V” inserts. A floating cap option is available, including for Rolls Royce models (with a “plate” option required for floating caps).
