• To ensure a perfect fit, Vossen captures over 100 data points from each vehicle, with every wheel custom-built for specific makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are manufactured using their exclusive forging process, which optimizes the spoke profile. This process adds material to the wheel face, allowing for profiles ranging from flat to deep concave, enabling an 8.5” wheel to achieve the concavity of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility utilizes advanced technology to deliver premium finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen maintains control over every step to ensure top-notch results.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – After machining, each wheel is carefully hand-sanded and deburred for a flawless finish. Wheels with brushed finishes go through an extensive hand-sanding process that can take up to five hours per wheel, ensuring a uniform texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most labor-intensive part of the process, brushing and polishing are available across the Vossen Forged collection. Brushed finishes highlight the natural beauty of forged aluminum, while ceramic polishing creates a mirror-like shine. Combining both delivers a premium, high-end look.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – After hand prep, wheels undergo a seven-stage pre-treatment cleaning process to remove impurities before powder coating, resulting in a more durable and uniform finish.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s specialized powder coating facility uses state-of-the-art equipment and premium powders to create a durable, consistent finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, a final inspection ensures the quality and uniformity of the finish. A film thickness gauge verifies consistency before the wheels are cleaned and packed for shipment.

• Vossen’s center caps are designed for both durability and a cohesive appearance. Available in polished or brushed finishes, they come with the signature red “V” shield as standard. Standard finishes are provided at no extra cost, with the option to color match the wheels for an additional fee. For a premium upgrade, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with exclusive “V” inserts. A floating cap option is also available and can be selected for Rolls Royce vehicles (a “plate” is required for floating caps).
